Plic Sajda - Kornati Islands

Plic Sajda offers a good Kornati dive, particularly for those who appreciate the smaller, more intricate details of the Mediterranean. Down on the rocky reef, we’ve often found red coral and scarlet coral branching out, interspersed with patches of bushy coral and the distinctive orange of sunset cup coral. The Mediterranean tapeweed and slender seagrass beds provide excellent hunting grounds for the conger eels we sometimes spot tucked into crevices. Keep an eye out for blackspotted smoothhounds or brown skates cruising by, especially if you get there a bit earlier in the morning. It’s a site that rewards a slow pace, letting you really observe the local residents.
