Pongo diving center - Kornati Islands

Diving around the Pongo diving center in Kornati is a solid day out, especially if you’re keen on spotting some of the Mediterranean's more unusual residents. We’ve had good luck here finding red snapping shrimp tucked away in crevices, and on deeper dives, we've even spotted dogfish cruising the seabed. Keep an eye out for ribbonfish undulating past, and if you’re patient, you might see a grey gurnard or an African armoured searobin settled on the sand. It's a relaxed dive, generally calm, suitable for divers who enjoy taking their time to seek out the smaller, shyer species rather than dramatic walls or big pelagics.
