SERPENTE - Kornati Islands

The Serpe, a small submarine, rests upright in a shallow 10m of water in the Kornati Islands. Its open hatch offers a glimpse into the control room, though we'd advise caution when penetrating; this is a true wreck, not a cleaned-up attraction. Scorpionfish often hide among the metal, and we've seen schools of juvenile barracuda circling the conning tower. It’s a compelling, albeit quick, dive for those interested in history and exploring something a bit more raw.
