With 52+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles and sperm whales - De Costa Bay offers some of Larnaca's richest reef diving. Water ranges 18-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
De Costa Bay is a mellow shore dive, topping out at 11m. You'll find a gently sloping sand bottom dotted with scattered rocks, home to smaller reef fish and nudibranchs if you look closely. It's a great spot for new divers to practice skills in calm conditions, or for photographers keen on macro subjects without strong currents. We often use it as a relaxed second dive.
