We’ve spent many a morning with them, gearing up and listening to the local fishermen’s chatter drift over from the harbour. This isn't your average dive shop; they specialise in the submerged Roman city of Baia, and honestly, we think everyone should dive it at least once. Diving Baia with them is like stepping back in time, literally. You’ll fin over mosaic floors still intact after millennia, weave through collapsed villas where emperors once lounged, and peer into what used to be a bustling marketplace. It’s an archaeological site, yes, but it feels so alive, with schools of fish darting through the ancient doorways and sea grass swaying over columns. We love how they tell the story of the place before you even hit the water, pointing out where bathhouses and temples stood. Our favourite dive, without a doubt, is the Nymphaeum of Claudius – the statues are long gone, but the outlines of their pedestals are still clear, and the light filtering through the shallow water is just magical. Visibility can vary, especially after a good rain, but even on a slightly murkier day, the sheer historical weight of the place is enough. They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC centre too, so you know you’re in good hands, whether you’re just doing a couple of fun dives or looking to advance your training in an incredibly unique environment.
