Lago di Capodacqua - Naples & Campania

Lago di Capodacqua is a fascinating freshwater dive, quite unlike anything you’ll find in the big blue. It’s a submerged medieval village, just 7 metres down, so it’s wonderfully accessible for beginners or those looking for a relaxed, unique dive. We’ve seen the ruins of stone buildings, an old church, and even some ancient trees still standing, all perfectly preserved by the cold, clear spring water. Visibility here is usually excellent, making it a great spot for photographers, especially early in the morning before any silt gets stirred up.
