With 136+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, hammerhead sharks, mobula rays (devil rays), octopuses and sea turtles - Santa Lucia offers some of Naples & Campania's richest diving.
Down in the Bay of Naples, Santa Lucia offers a glimpse into history as much as marine life. You'll find ancient Roman ruins, columns, and pottery scattered across the seabed, often with moray eels and octopus making them home. It's a pretty easy dive, good for new divers who want to combine a bit of archaeology with their critter spotting. Just keep an eye out for boat traffic, it’s a busy bay.
