Tête d’Homme et Tête de Cheval - Sardinia

On Sardinia’s northern tip, Tête d’Homme et Tête de Cheval offers a calm entry into Mediterranean diving. We’ve found it’s a solid spot for newer divers, with a maximum depth of 23 metres and generally mild conditions. The site gets its name from two rock formations above the waterline, one shaped like a man’s head, the other a horse’s, which are a nice landmark. Underwater, you’ll mainly explore a series of rock formations, some pretty big, creating swim-throughs and overhangs where groupers often hang out. Look into the cracks for moray eels and octopuses tucked away. It’s not a thrill-a-minute site, but it’s a pleasant, easy dive for shaking off the rust or getting comfortable in the water.
