Why dive here
Alex's Cave Dive Site is a cave dive where divers can encounter dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and sea turtles. Water ranges 15-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
Alex’s Cave, tucked away on Comino, offers a nice, straightforward cave dive. You’ll fin into a decent-sized cavern where the light filters down from the entrance, creating some pretty cool shafts. It’s mostly about the play of light and shadow, with a few dusky groupers often lurking in the darker corners. We’ve spotted loggerhead turtles drifting by the mouth of the cave on occasion too. If you're looking for an easy penetration dive without anything too challenging, this one usually fits the bill.
Safety Notes
Overhead environment - never enter without proper cave/cavern training, redundant equipment, and a guideline.
