Blue Lagoon Tunnel Dive Site is a cave dive where divers can encounter dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and sea turtles. Water ranges 15-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Blue Lagoon Tunnel dive site, right there in Comino, offers a pleasant, straightforward dive. We usually start by exploring the sandy patches just outside the tunnel, often spotting marbled spinefoot grazing or a painted comber tucked into a crevice. The real draw, though, is finning through the tunnel itself. It’s not a huge cavern, more a swim-through, but the light play can be quite pretty, especially mid-morning. Inside, we’ve come across ornate wrasse darting between the bushy coral, and if you look closely, Mediterranean slipper lobsters can be found hiding in the cracks. It's a nice, easy dive, perfect for warming up or for divers who appreciate relaxed exploration over deep, dramatic walls.
