Crystal Lagoon Dive Site - Comino

We've found the Crystal Lagoon to be a reliable spot for a relaxed dive off Comino, especially when the winds make other sites a bit choppy. The main draw is a large cavern you can swim through, it’s not too deep so even newer divers can enjoy the light filtering in. Look closely at the walls and you’ll often find some of the larger slipper lobsters tucked away, and the bushy coral seems to thrive in the shadowed areas. Outside the cavern, the sunnier patches are good for spotting ornate wrasse and painted comber darting between the rocks, with schools of salema often hanging in the bluer water. We’d suggest it for a gentle afternoon dive, maybe after a morning exploring somewhere with a bit more punch.
