Fessej Rock - Gozo
Fessej Rock sits just off the coast of Xlendi, a fairly straightforward dive that often gets overlooked for its more famous neighbors. We usually kick out from the shore, finning over a shallow shelf before the rock face starts to drop. The main wall is covered in a mix of corals, with bright splashes of scarlet coral and bushy coral catching the light. Look for Mediterranean slipper lobsters tucked into crevices; we’ve spotted dusky groupers cruising by on more than one occasion. It’s a solid choice for a second dive or if you want something a little less strenuous, offering a relaxed exploration without the crowds.
