Għar ta' Ras il-Qamħ is a cave dive where divers can encounter dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and sea turtles. Water ranges 16-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
Għar ta' Ras il-Qamħ on Gozo offers a cave experience that feels just right for a relaxed afternoon dive. You’ll swim into a spacious cavern, where the light shifts beautifully as you move deeper. We often spot Painted Comber and Ornate Wrasse darting around, and if you’re lucky, a Loggerhead Turtle might glide past the entrance. The real draw for us, though, is searching the nooks for Mediterranean Slipper Lobsters and the delicate scarlet and bushy corals. It’s a comfortable dive, perfect for those who enjoy exploring sheltered spaces without extreme depths or currents.
