Mġarr ix-Xini - Gozo

Mġarr ix-Xini feels like a proper Gozitan dive, a bit rugged but rewarding. You drop in from the pebbly beach, and it's a gentle slope down, a nice easy entry for a relaxed dive. We’ve found decent patches of the slender seagrass here, and if you’re patient, you might spot a Mediterranean slipper lobster tucked away. Look closely amongst the rocks and you’ll often see ornate wrasse darting about, and dusky grouper can sometimes be seen cruising a little deeper. It’s a good spot for a second dive of the day, or for divers who want something straightforward without too much current to worry about.
