Why dive here
Marfa is a dive where divers can encounter dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and sea turtles. Water ranges 16-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
Marfa on Gozo's northern coast offers a straightforward shore dive. We usually see plenty of small Mediterranean species here: moray eels tucked into crevices, damselfish darting amongst the rocks, and sometimes octopus if you look carefully. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive or for divers getting comfortable with shore entries. The maximum depth is around 18 metres.
