MARTA - Gozo

The Marta, near Xatt l-Aħmar, is a relatively shallow wreck, sitting at just four metres. She’s a decent sized motor vessel, 78 metres long, sunk intentionally in 1991. We love how accessible she is, making for a relaxed dive, especially if you're keen on longer bottom times. You can explore the deck structure, which has become home to plenty of wrasses and damselfish darting between the rusty plates. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the encrusting sponges too; the shallow depth means there’s ample light for spotting smaller critters. It’s a good one for newer wreck divers, or anyone after an easy second dive.
