OCEAN PACE - Gozo

The Ocean Pace, resting upright at 27 metres, is our favourite kind of wreck dive – a proper ship that feels like a discovery. We love the way she sits on the seabed, masts still reaching for the surface, creating an immediate sense of scale when you descend. It’s not a huge wreck, but there’s enough to explore that you don't feel rushed. You can easily swim along her decks, peer into the holds, and even venture into the wheelhouse if you’re comfortable with a bit of penetration. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, particularly the vibrant flabellinas, clinging to the rails and superstructure. Schools of damselfish often hover above, darting in and out of the openings, and we’ve seen morays peeking from crevices more than once. The ambient light filtering through the mast structure always looks good on a sunny day. This one's a solid choice for anyone who enjoys a good wreck exploration without needing extreme depth or complicated navigation.
