JU-88 - Malta Island

Dropping down to 55 meters on the JU-88, you’re looking at a serious deep dive, so come prepared. What we love about this site is the aircraft’s intact structure, still largely recognizable as a bomber, though time and the sea have done their work. You can fin around the cockpit, peer into the fuselage, and imagine its final moments. It's a sombre but fascinating dive, with schools of barracuda often circling the wreck's skeletal remains, and moray eels peeking from crevices where instruments once sat. This one's definitely for experienced wreck divers comfortable with depth and perhaps a bit of current, which can sometimes pick up out here.
