Is-Sikka tal-Qawwi on Malta’s coast is a quieter spot that often gets overlooked, and that's precisely why we like it. We've often found ourselves drifting over rocky reefs here, keeping an eye out for larger dusky groupers tucked into crevices. The tapeweed beds are a nursery for juvenile fish, and it’s a good place to spot ornate wrasse darting between the fronds. If you take it slow and explore the rocks, you might even catch a glimpse of a common spiny lobster or a shy painted comber. It’s a solid pick for a relaxed afternoon dive, especially if you prefer fewer divers around.
