Baía da Guia - Algarve & Berlengas
Baía da Guia, tucked away in the Algarve, is a gentle introduction to Portugal's coastal diving. At a maximum depth of 8m, it’s a perfect spot for newer divers, or those looking for a relaxed bimble without much fuss. We've seen cuttlefish here, often hovering patiently, along with small groups of sea bream darting between the rocks. The rocky bottom provides plenty of nooks for blennies and gobies to peek out, and the light is usually good, making it a pleasant, easy dive. We'd suggest it for an afternoon dip, perhaps as a checkout dive or just to shake off the travel rust.
