Barra Velha is a straightforward dive off the Algarve coast. You'll find a series of rocky outcrops and some sandy patches, home to typical Mediterranean reef fish like damselfish and wrasse. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, particularly if you're looking for an easier profile after exploring some of the more exposed Berlengas sites. Good for shaking out the cobwebs or a second dive of the day.
