With 116+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Bifa offers some of Algarve & Berlengas's richest diving. Water ranges 15-19°C, warmest June, October, November.
Bifa is a good intermediate dive in the Algarve, settling at a consistent 17 metres. We typically find interesting rock formations here, often home to octopuses tucked away in crevices and small schools of seabream. It’s a solid choice for divers looking for a relaxed, straightforward dive without strong currents.
