EVERI - Algarve & Berlengas
The EVERI wreck, found off the coast of Algarve, is an interesting site for divers looking for a relatively shallow wreck experience. This 35-meter sailing vessel rests in just 10 meters of water, making it accessible for open water divers and a great spot for longer bottom times. We found the stern section particularly photogenic, with the rudder post still intact and schools of juvenile fish darting through the broken decking. Look closely for nudibranchs on the hull plating, and if you’re lucky, a curious octopus peering from a crevice. It’s a nice way to spend an afternoon if you appreciate the subtle beauty of a wreck slowly being reclaimed by the sea.
