With 116+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - EVERI offers some of Algarve & Berlengas's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 15-19°C, warmest June, October, November.
The EVERI wreck, found off the coast of Algarve, is an interesting site for divers looking for a relatively shallow wreck experience. This 35-meter sailing vessel rests in just 10 meters of water, making it accessible for open water divers and a great spot for longer bottom times. We found the stern section particularly photogenic, with the rudder post still intact and schools of juvenile fish darting through the broken decking. Look closely for nudibranchs on the hull plating, and if you’re lucky, a curious octopus peering from a crevice. It’s a nice way to spend an afternoon if you appreciate the subtle beauty of a wreck slowly being reclaimed by the sea.
