The Golden Reef Wall in Algarve is a pretty straightforward dive, good for getting your fins wet if you’re newer to the sport. It bottoms out at 20 meters, so there’s no deep trickery required, making it a solid choice for beginners to get comfortable. We generally find a decent number of smaller reef fish here, things like wrasse and the occasional juvenile bream darting amongst the rocks. Visibility can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on the day, but often it's clear enough to enjoy the easygoing nature of the site. It’s a pleasant enough spot for a relaxed afternoon.
