HMS Foresight - Algarve & Berlengas

The wreck of SMS Lützow, sunk during the Battle of Jutland in 1916, is a real favourite of ours, especially for those who appreciate the sheer scale of a battlecruiser. It's a proper deep dive, best suited for experienced wreck divers comfortable with limited visibility and strong currents that are common here. You're not looking for bright corals, you're looking for history. The Lützow lies broken, a sprawling monument to naval warfare, with vast sections of twisted metal and heavy armour plating. We love exploring the huge gun turrets, now overgrown with anemones and hydroids, while enormous schools of whiting and hake patrol the darker interiors. Keep an eye out for the colourful Cristal Gobies darting among the debris. This isn't a dive for the faint-hearted, but for those who brave the North Sea conditions, the Lützow offers a powerful, humbling experience.
