Lagosteiros - Algarve & Berlengas
Lagosteiros makes for a pleasant, straightforward dive, perfect if you’re looking to ease into the Algarve’s underwater scene. At a maximum depth of 17 metres, it’s not going to challenge the experienced diver, but it offers a calm environment for beginners and those getting back in the water. We’ve found the sandy bottom here often gives way to small rock formations and scattered boulders, which in turn provide shelter for octopus and cuttlefish. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs along the shallower sections too, they’re often tucked away in crevices. It's a relaxed spot for a chilled-out afternoon plunge.
