With 116+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Leven offers some of Algarve & Berlengas's richest diving. Water ranges 15-19°C, warmest June, October, November.
The Leven is a deep wreck dive off the Algarve coast. We've found it’s usually best for experienced divers comfortable with deeper profiles and potential currents. Expect to see schools of barracuda circling the superstructure and plenty of resident moray eels tucked into the hull. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, it's a solid technical dive.
