The Maior Recife Natural de Portugal, as its name suggests, is Portugal’s largest natural reef. It's a nice easy dive, shallow at just 18m, making it perfect for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed time underwater. We've often found small groupers tucked into the rocky crevices here, alongside octopuses peering out from under ledges. It might not blow your mind, but for a chilled afternoon dive in the Algarve, it delivers some solid Mediterranean reef vibes.
