With 116+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Mar de Pedra offers some of Algarve & Berlengas's richest reef diving. Water ranges 15-19°C, warmest June, October, November.
Mar de Pedra offers a journey through interesting rock formations and small caverns along the Algarve coast. We often spot octopus tucked into crevices and schools of sardines moving through the sunlit shallows. It's a relaxed dive, good for newer divers building confidence with some overhead environments, or anyone looking for a chilled-out afternoon beneath the surface.
