Maria Alice is a solid entry-level dive, especially if you’re new to the Algarve. At a comfortable 13 metres, it’s a gentle introduction to the local underwater scene. We’ve often spotted cuttlefish here, doing their camouflage thing, along with a decent variety of small reef fish darting between the rocks. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive schools, but for a relaxed dive in clear water, it consistently delivers. Perfect for getting your buoyancy dialed in or just shaking off the travel rust.
