With 116+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Pe de Terra offers some of Algarve & Berlengas's richest diving. Water ranges 15-19°C, warmest June, October, November.
Pe de Terra is a decent shore dive on the Algarve coast. The site is sheltered, making for an easy entry and exit, often with minimal current. You'll generally find wrasse, gobies, and small blennies tucked into the rocky crevices. It's a relaxed spot, perfect for new divers or those looking for a gentle afternoon dip to practice skills.
