Pedra da Mula - Algarve & Berlengas

Pedra da Mula is one of those shallower sites we keep coming back to when we need an easy, relaxing dive. At just 8 meters deep, it's perfect for beginners, or anyone who wants a long bottom time to really soak in the details. You’ll spend most of your time exploring the rocky cracks and crevices, where we’ve often spotted octopuses hunkering down and cuttlefish drifting past. The light penetration is fantastic here, making everything feel bright and accessible, even on an overcast day. It’s a great spot to practice buoyancy and just enjoy being underwater without any challenging currents or depths to worry about.
