Pedra do Cagacal - Algarve & Berlengas
Pedra do Cagacal is one of those sites we often recommend for divers looking to go a bit deeper around the Berlengas. It’s a rocky reef that drops down to 38 metres, a good intermediate depth where you’ll usually find plenty of octopus tucked into crevices and moray eels peeking out from under ledges. The deeper sections tend to attract schooling fish like barracuda, especially in the late summer. It’s a solid dive if you’re comfortable with depth and want a taste of the deeper reef structure the region offers.
