Pedra do Cogumelo, or "Mushroom Rock," is a chilled-out dive in the Algarve that’s perfect for easing into things. We're talking maximum depth of 19 meters, so it’s a nice gentle introduction for newer divers. What you'll find here is a collection of smaller rock formations providing shelter for octopus, cuttlefish, and the occasional moray eel peeking out from crevices. It’s not about big pelagics, but more about spotting the little critters tucked away in the nooks and crannies. If you’re after a relaxing dive with some cool macro opportunities, this spot delivers.
