Pedra do Leão - Algarve & Berlengas

Pedra do Leão, just off the coast, sits at a friendly 12 meters, making it a decent pick for those still building their confidence in current. It's not a site that will blow your hair back with huge pelagics, but we often find plenty of smaller life tucked into the rocks. Look for octopus hiding in crevices and schools of sea bream cruising by. The visibility can be variable, sometimes a glorious 15 meters, other days a bit murkier, but generally, it's a pleasant, easy dive. It’s a good choice for an afternoon bob after a more challenging morning.
