Pinheiro in the Algarve is a straightforward shallow dive, topping out at 14 metres. It’s a good spot for beginners or those getting back into the swing of things, with minimal current to contend with. Expect to see the usual suspects for the region like small schools of bream and wrasse cruising among the rocks. We often use it for skill refreshers or a relaxed afternoon dip when conditions are a bit choppy elsewhere.
