The Roberto Ivens wreck sits upright on the seabed at 31m, a relatively intact fishing trawler that offers a solid intermediate dive in the Algarve. We often find the visibility here can be a bit hit or miss, but on a good day, the structure provides a decent canvas for photography. Look for conger eels tucked into the darker recesses and schools of small fish zipping through the hold. It’s a rewarding dive for those comfortable with deeper wrecks and keen to explore a piece of local maritime history.
