Tunnels & Bridge - Algarve & Berlengas
Down in the Algarve, Tunnels & Bridge is a pretty gentle introduction to cave diving. At a maximum depth of 8 metres, it’s mostly about the light play and the feeling of being in an enclosed space without any real technical demands. We usually see plenty of small wrasse darting in and out of the cracks, and the rock formations themselves are interesting enough to keep your attention. It’s a good spot for newer divers to build confidence, or for anyone looking for a relaxed, shallow dive when the sea conditions are calm. Just keep an eye on your buoyancy; the silty bottom gets stirred up quickly.
