TAHSIN KALKAVAN - Bodrum
The Tahsin Kalkavan, a motor vessel, settled near Çeşme, Izmir, offers a good, relaxed wreck dive. We've explored her down to 35 metres, finding her mostly intact and colonised by the usual Mediterranean suspects. Keep an eye out for moray eels tucked into the darker corners and schools of damselfish flitting around the superstructure. It's a solid dive for anyone looking to spend some time on a wreck without needing advanced technical skills, and she’s a good one for practicing buoyancy in overhead environments if you’re thinking about pushing your training.
