ship wreck, mainly covered in sand - Kas & Kekova

The wreck near Kas, mostly buried in sand, isn't one for deep penetration, but it’s still a good dive. What you see here are the exposed ribs and bow, forming a series of low-lying shelters. Look closely among the metalwork and you'll find plenty of smaller creatures – we've spotted cowfish nosing around the debris, and rhomboid sweepers often school in the slight current over the stern. It's a relaxed dive, usually calm, and excellent for spotting lionfish or the occasional silver-cheeked toadfish tucked away. If you like hunting for macro life, this site is a solid choice.
