ANGLE - Northumberland & Northeast

The Angle, a trawler built in 1908, rests upright in just three metres of water. It’s a great little dive, particularly if you’re looking for a relaxed potter. You’ll find the wreck pretty broken up in places, but the outline of the stern and parts of the bow are still clear. Keep an eye out for plenty of crabs tucked into the nooks and crannies, and cod often swim through the remaining structure. Because it's so shallow, it’s a brilliant spot for newer divers, or for photographers who want to spend ages framing a shot without worrying about bottom time.
