BELLA - Northumberland & Northeast

The Bella, a fishing vessel that went down in 1982 after springing a plank, sits upright at 17 metres. It's a compact wreck, just 14 metres long, making it an easy dive to navigate in its entirety. You'll find it well-colonised by local Northumberland life, with plumose anemones waving from every surface and the occasional curious cod peering from a shadowed corner. It’s a good choice for newer wreck divers looking to get some experience, or for anyone wanting a relaxed second dive. Just keep an eye on the local tides; currents can pick up a bit.
