BRABLOCH (POSSIBLY) - Northumberland & Northeast

The BRABLOCH, a steamship that went down in 1897, sits at a very manageable 10 metres, making it a solid choice for divers looking for a straightforward wreck dive. It’s pretty broken up after all those years on the seabed, but you can still pick out pieces of the hull and machinery. We've seen some decent-sized crabs and lobsters tucked into the crevices, along with plenty of small fish darting in and out of the metalwork. It’s not a deep or demanding dive, so it’s good for shaking off the rust or getting comfortable with wreck penetration, if you’re into poking around small spaces. The visibility can be a bit variable, as it often is in the Northeast, but on a good day, the wreck offers enough points of interest to make it a worthwhile trip.
