ILSE - Northumberland & Northeast

The *Ilse* is a fun, shallow wreck, great for a second dive or if you're just getting back in the water. She’s a steamship, sunk in 1941, and now rests at a comfortable 5m. You’ll find her broken up, but there are still plenty of recognisable sections of hull and machinery to poke around. What we really love is how the local crabs and blennies have made it their home, tucked into every nook and cranny. It’s a gentle introduction to wreck diving in the Northeast.
