LETTY - Northumberland & Northeast

The Letty is a proper piece of history down there. She’s a steamship, built in 1908, and went down in 1940, now resting at around 20 metres. You’ll find her upright, though well-broken in places, giving plenty of swim-throughs if you're comfortable with overhead environments and a bit of silty sediment. We often see some decent-sized cod lurking in the holds, and the metalwork is covered in anemones and dead man’s fingers. It’s a good dive for those who appreciate a solid wreck exploration without needing a huge amount of depth.
