LIVERPOOL (POSSIBLY) - Northumberland & Northeast

The *Liverpool* (possibly) is a deep, moody dive that really gets under your skin. We love the sheer mystery of it all; the "possibly" in its name just adds to the allure. Dropping down to 42 metres, you’re enveloped in a kind of twilight, the water often a rich green hue, filtering the light in dramatic shafts. Visibility can be a challenge, so pick your day carefully, ideally on a slack tide with a clear forecast. Once you hit the deck, the wreck comes alive. It's broken, yes, but still very much a ship, with plates and beams forming overhangs and small caverns. Look closely and you'll spot the resident ling, big shadowy creatures that seem to guard the deeper sections. Our favourite part is navigating the main hull structure, feeling the cold steel under your fingertips. It’s a dive for those who appreciate history and don't mind a bit of a challenge, a true atmospheric experience.
