MARY - Northumberland & Northeast

Diving the MARY is a peek into history, right off the Northumberland coast. This isn't a deep dive, sitting at just 5 meters, which makes it pretty accessible when conditions are calm. You're exploring the remains of the first Royal Yacht, a gift from the Dutch to King Charles II in 1660, wrecked on the Skerries. While it’s been down there since 1675, you can still make out parts of the hull structure, colonised by crabs and small blennies. It’s a good spot for newer wreck divers or anyone looking for a relaxed dive with a real story behind it.
