MYRARDS - Northumberland & Northeast

The *Myrards* in Northumberland is a cracking little wreck, and we reckon it’s often overlooked for some of its bigger, deeper neighbours. Sitting upright at a maximum depth of 10 metres, she’s a perfect dive for newer wreck enthusiasts or when the weather’s a bit frisky. You’ll spend your time exploring the collapsed superstructure and the hull, which still holds a good shape despite the years. We love how the *Myrards* has become a real home for the local critters. Head here on a calm day and you can spend a good hour poking around, spotting blennies peeking out of holes, dogfish cruising past, and colourful anemones clinging to every available surface. Our favourite time to dive it is on an incoming tide – the visibility often picks up a notch, making it easier to really appreciate the scale of the fishing vessel. Just keep an eye on those currents; they can get a bit frisky on spring tides, so plan accordingly.
