QUEEN - Northumberland & Northeast

The Queen, a steamship that went down in a collision back in 1906, sits upright on the seabed at a shallow 11 metres. We find her roughly two and a quarter miles southwest of the Bar Lightvessel, a good spot for a less demanding dive. You'll see the wreck itself isn't massive, around 30.5 metres long, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in character; her structure is quite colonised now, attracting lobsters and crabs that hide in the nooks. We often spot schools of coalfish darting around the superstructure too. It’s a solid pick for divers looking for a straightforward wreck dive without deep decompression obligations.
