RIVERSIDE (POSSIBLY) - Northumberland & Northeast

The Riverside, a steamship that went down in 1905, sits in about 31 metres. It’s a proper wreck dive, not just scattered debris. We've spent time tracing the outline of her hull, imagining her journey from Maryport. You can still make out the single boiler and parts of the triple expansion engine, which is a real treat for those who appreciate maritime history. Over the years, she’s become home to various crabs and lobsters, tucked into the nooks and crannies. It's a dive that rewards careful exploration, perfect for divers comfortable with deeper North Sea conditions and keen on proper wreck penetration.
